Advanced Nurse Unit Manager
Job Description:
* Lead, coordinate and enhance consumer care within the Integrated Mental Health Team in Mount Gambier.
* Oversee and guide the nursing team and/or multi-disciplinary team activities, ensuring high standards of care and effective delivery in a defined service area.
* Utilise your extensive clinical knowledge to drive the quality and continuity of consumer care, addressing and resolving any inconsistencies between practice and policy.
* Manage local resources effectively to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers and support the nursing and mental health services.
* Foster a positive work culture by developing team performance, mentoring staff, and promoting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

* Accountability: Take responsibility for nursing and multidisciplinary outcomes within the practice setting, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
Requirements:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent in mental health nursing.
