Our client is seeking a Course Coordinator to join their team in Forrest, ACT.This is a temporary position, initially for a term through to 30 June 2025, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions.The role is ideal for an APS4 candidate with experience in course coordination or academic administration.You will play a key role in the planning, management, and delivery of academic courses, providing essential support to both facilitators and students while ensuring the smooth operation of the Academy's programs.Key Responsibilities Course Coordination (75%) Course Planning & Scheduling: Manage course schedules to align with academic calendars and internal guidelines.Facilitator Support: Act as the primary contact for facilitators, providing administrative assistance and ensuring course materials are ready.Student Engagement: Respond to student inquiries, offer guidance on course-related matters, and maintain communication between students and the Academy.Course Evaluation: Administer and track course feedback, compiling reports for continuous course improvement.Resource Coordination: Ensure required resources (e.g., textbooks, digital materials) are available for facilitators.Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Assist with the administration of the LMS, including uploading materials, tracking progress, and troubleshooting.Academic Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate documentation, including course rosters and grades.General Administration (25%) Financial Management: Assist with tracking course-related expenditures, processing invoices, and supporting financial reporting.Procurement & Contracts: Support procurement processes and manage vendor contracts in line with department policies.Concierge & Support: Provide logistical support, including event coordination and catering for DAC-related activities.Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence, and managing shared mailboxes.Skills & Experience Proven experience in course coordination or academic administration, with strong attention to detail.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or the ability to quickly learn.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to adapt to change, multitask, and prioritise tasks effectively.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Experience in financial management, budgeting, and procurement (desirable).Eligibility This role requires the successful candidate to hold at least an NV1 security clearance, and/or have the ability to obtain NV2.Please note that applications without NV1 or above will not be considered.Why Apply?This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious environment while contributing to the development and delivery of critical academic programs.If you are a highly organised individual with a passion for supporting education and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.To apply, please submit your resume addressing your suitability for the role, including your current level of security clearance.
