About this position
Reporting to the Director Business Services, the Executive Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Business Services leadership team. This role involves conducting research, managing projects and assisting with the planning and execution of Civic and Ceremonial events.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate :
* Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe suite applications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of competing priorities
* The ability to deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information in a political environment
* A willingness to work as part of a team
* Driver's licence.
* National Police Clearance (no more than three months old). Please note : This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
* Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Event Management or other relevant qualification
* Experience in a similar position providing secretarial / administration support at a senior level.
