Calling Experienced Machine/ Tractor Operators Macadamia Farm Management is progressively leading large-scale production of macadamia nuts in the Bundaberg and surrounding regions. Due to increased operational requirements, we have Machine Operator positions available in Bundaberg and Childers. Roles will commence as casual (full-time hours) with a view of going permanent. Do you take pride in looking after and keeping your machine clean and tidy? Do you have strong work ethic and attention to detail? Are you comfortable with learning and adapting to new technology and ways of working? Do you have permanent working rights in Australia? If you answered yes to all of the above this could be the role for you. What you will be doing: • Conducting various machine operations including slashing, mowing, spreading, mulching, fertigating, harvesting and spraying, and changing machine attachments • Driving quad bikes and buggies • Keeping machinery clean and tidy, greased up, oiled and changing filters • Remaining flexible and open to learning new skills • Assisting in duties across the farm when not operating machinery • Using GPS to navigate and autosteer machinery What we need from you as a Machine Operator: 1. Previous experience in operating machinery 2. Physically fit to undertake labour tasks 3. Confidence to learn, with training, how to use GPS, digital timesheets and apps to record information 4.
