The Role We currently have vacancies for motivated and safety focused Front-End Loader Operators to join our client's team, this role will be working in a busy distribution yard located at Kooragang Island. Monday to Friday 6:30AM-3:30PM OT if available. Key Responsibilities: Operating a Front-End Loader up to 20T Operating higher tonne forklifts up to 32T Unload or load containers / trailers from incoming / outgoing vehicles Operating the Weighbridge and assisting with Shipping operations when required Assisting in the yard, palletising and packing boxes of product samples Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site processes Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to Inspect machinery daily, pre and post shift Skills & Experience Must hold a current forklift licence (LF) and a current Front End Loader VOC Competency. 2 years of recent experience operating heavy forklifts up to 32tonne Have a high attention to detail Must be safety driven Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills Proficient with use of computers and software (Data Entry and updating spreadsheets) Previous experience in container terminal operations / processes an advantage Have a sense of depth and distance perception Benefits Opportunity to gain long term employment with Toll - a transport industry leader Above award rates Gain and increase your experience across several industries Ongoing support and training About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
