Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy)4/3 4/3 8/6 Days Only Roster | FIFO from Perth to the Roy Hill MinePerformance, Retention and Profit Share Bonuses18 weeks full pay or 36 weeks half pay for primary caregiversCompany contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate familyAbout the role:The Health & Safety Processing team is seeking a Superintendent Health & Safety to join them on a 4/3 4/3 8/6 Days Only Roster based at Roy Hill Mine.Reporting to the Manager Health & Safety Business Partner, you will provide Health and Safety support to the Roy Hill processing operations and lead a team of Four Advisor Health & Safety.You will be responsible for supporting leadership in the delivery of safety, health, and respect in the workplace, implementing and coaching in safety systems, and delivering plans for the processing division to ensure Roy Hill's targets are met.Key Duties:Display and promote Health and Safety by active field-based presenceContribute to the implementation, execution, improvement, and monitoring of the Roy Hill HS Management and Performance StandardsLead a team of field-based HS Advisors to ensure a high quality and effective support service is provided to processing personnelWork with the processing management team to ensure effective coaching and execution of health and safety policies and proceduresLiaise with government departments and agencies, the community, and other authorities as required, ensuring compliance with government health & safety regulatory requirementsProvide advice, guidance, and support to management on technical and behavioral health and safety matters that affect or impact the processing operationSkills and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or Risk ManagementSignificant experience in the health & safety fieldDemonstrated leadership experiencePrevious experience working in the mining or natural resources sectorAbout the Company:Roy Hill is a world-class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.We are a company where people matter.
