We are seeking a Group General Manager to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences and operational excellence for the most dynamic and vibrant hospitality group in Queensland. The objectives and responsibilities of this role include:
1. Leading all FOH teams to optimise and maintain excellent standards and guest experience;
2. Regularly reviewing and improving on service standards;
3. Ensuring all the restaurants remain competitive within the target market;
4. Directing Restaurant Managers and Supervisors within each venue in daily activities, ensuring proper setup, service, and closing;
5. Developing teams through coaching, regular feedback and appraisals, goal-setting, ongoing training, and leading-by-example;
6. Working with the HR team to foster a positive and engaging team culture that welcomes open communication;
7. Working closely with and directing the Operations Manager and respective Restaurant Managers to achieve financial goals through effective management of operational performance;
8. Ensuring labour and supply costs are maintained;
9. Regularly reviewing and measuring KPIs to track restaurant performance;
10. Maintaining a strong presence on the floor during peak service;
11. Driving the recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members, with an aim of keeping staff turnover to a minimum;
12. Working with the HR and Training team to ensure up-to-date and compelling training materials;
13. Ensuring high standards of health and safety are adhered to in all venues;
14. Working closely with the owners on strategic initiatives and the group's development.
We seek candidates with:
1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
2. 5+ years of multi-site management experience in service-driven and culinary-forward restaurants;
3. A track record of successfully managing dynamic teams;
4. Ability to build rapport and productive relationships across different teams and roles, from owners to peers to direct reports;
5. A proactive, self-motivated working style, with the ability to work independently as well as collaborating closely across functions;
