Our stores are a hub that connect our customers to events, influencers, and trends, allowing them to live life on their terms.The roleThe Senior IT Support Officer is responsible for providing customer-focused technology support services within City Beach.You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting infrastructure and business-critical technology systems, solving complex technology problems, and managing project works as required.
You will also act as an escalation point for casual and junior support team members.The ideal candidate for this role will also be involved in some systems integration works, so if you have some knowledge of Python, SQL, and Power Automate and a desire to continue to grow these skills, you will be a good fit.What you'll be doing:Ensuring the delivery of customer-focused technology support to our team members in our Stores, Head Office, and the Distribution Centre.Familiarity with IT process frameworks, roles, and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Manage and prioritise incident tickets with effective resolution.Maintaining health of infrastructure systems.Provide resolution to hardware and software problems; research and analyse root cause.Use your knowledge of basic cyber security best practices to protect staff and systems from cyber security threats.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.Reviewing and monitoring logs for problem identification and suggested resolutions.Supporting the broader IT team by assisting in successful delivery of IT projects.Systems integration support and enhancement, using your knowledge of Python, SQL, Power Automate, and scripting.What you'll need:Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, DHCP, and DNS.Proficient in SQL administration and scripting.Fundamental knowledge of cyber security best practices for end users.Able to multi-task, collaborate, and meet deadlines.Experienced with mobile technologies (Apple, Android).Experienced with multi-factor authentication tools and processes.Experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.Strong team player and relationship builder.The benefits:Enjoy a 40% team member discount for you, your friends, and family to access.We have partnered with industry leaders to bring our team members discounts on products and memberships to keep you healthy on all fronts, including:Access to a free Employee Assistance Program.15% discount on Goodlife Health Clubs and Fitness First Gyms memberships.Discounts on Studio Pilates Class Passes and City Cave Float & Wellness Centre.Complimentary consultations with Westpac.7% discount on Medibank private health insurance.Up to 15% off at Strike Bowling & Holey Moley.Weekly or fortnightly birthday and work anniversary celebrations and shared lunches.Prezzee Gift Cards for major milestones and yearly anniversary certificates.Social work drinks & pool competitions every Friday from 4pm.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information Technology, Retail and Information Services
