With high performing management, the company is sustainably transforming to offer a great customer experience.About the roleWe are looking for an Operations / Business Manager to join our team based at our Brisbane location. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of 5 locations, including management of key Branch staff. This is a very high-paced and fluid environment; you will enjoy working at a quick pace and love adding value to the business through strategic business decisions.The key components are ensuring the overall business is operating efficiently and our core values are adhered to. As we are a 7-day-a-week operation, we expect you to fully understand the expectations this involves.The successful candidate will be rewarded commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and performance plus Superannuation.Your role and responsibilities:Perform all duties in line with the Alpha Values of Accountability, Honesty, Loyalty, Respect & Trust.Manage, lead, and develop a team of staff to the highest levels of performance and job satisfaction by developing their skills, knowledge, and behaviours.Adhere to all legislative requirements and industry awards, pertaining to performance management, contractual, award rates, vehicle rental agreements, etc., while following company policy and procedures.Undertake recruitment, onboarding, and training activities.Ensure branch rostering is effective to meet demand, controlling costs (P&L), increasing sales, meeting targets, and KPI’s.Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety and operational risks and incidents are reported and managed effectively in accordance with policies and procedures.Ensure fleet integrity, including roadworthiness, fleet check accuracy, managing damage control and general maintenance tasks are completed.Provide flexibility to assist across locations where required.We can offer you:A performance-driven culture that reflects honesty, respect, accountability, trust, and loyalty.
