Position The role is a pure inbound account management and technical advisory position.
You will respond to customer enquiries, mainly incoming phone calls from new and existing customers looking to hire equipment.
Your job is to provide technical advice and guidance in product selection, but to ultimately take the enquiry from an initial call, to a quote and finally through to a purchase order.
Although this is a pure inbound technical advisory role, it is still focussed on converting sales and therefore you are paid a significant amount of money for converting orders.
The salary is $75k - $80k + super + uncapped commissions which should see you earning over $120k per year.
Candidate To be considered for this position it is preferred that all candidates have some form of technical knowledge around electrical power equipment.
This could be from completing tertiary studies in electrical, or electronic engineering, or a prior electrical trade certificate.
Any prior sales experience, or customer service interaction is also desirable, with the perfect experience being a technical electrical background with some sales experience.
Career drive, tenacity, self-motivation and a desire to earn high commissions are all essential traits needed for the role.
