As a Postnatal Ward Manager your responsibilities will include: Providing operational direction for Birth Suite to ensure efficient and effective managementCoordinating the delivery of midwifery care that is evidence basedEnsuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environmentProviding guidance, mentoring and support to your teamBeing accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resourcesUndertaking direct midwifery care, as requiredEnsuring compliance with ACQSHC National standardsCurrent Registration with AHPRA as a registered midwife with no restrictionsRegistered Midwife with at least 5 years' experienceProven experience in building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approachDemonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholdersDemonstrate a good knowledge base in labour managementUnderstand the requirements of private health fundingA commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused careHigh degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data basesAbility to work cohesively within a team environmentTertiary post graduate qualifications in MidwiferyA demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation.A demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality improvement, change management, models of care, evidence based practice and practise development.Why Healthscope? If successful, your pay will be based on EBA 23 - Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF — NSW Nurses' & Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with an hourly rate ranging between $62.46- $67.18 per hour.
