HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a number of passionate individuals to fill the role of Visitor Services Officer on behalf of our client, located at the heart of remembrance in Campbell ACT.

The position is a Customer Service role and is due to commence training on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 for 4 days full days of training to Friday 6th December 2024 (Fully paid).
The role is a casual assignment and there are several shifts available which run over 7 days per week between the hours of 9:00am and 5:06pm each day Monday to Sunday.
We ideally would like candidates to be able to work 3 - 4 shifts per week as a minimum.
About the Role:
* Actively engage visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable experience.
* Provide accurate and insightful information on exhibitions, tours, and activities.
* Deliver engaging public programs that enhance visitor understanding.
* Contribute to the solemnity of the daily Last Post Ceremony.
* Maintain gallery security while conveying the Memorial's ethos with sensitivity.
Benefits:
* The Pay Rate for this assignment is currently $40.73 per hour including casual loading whilst on training for approximately 4 weeks and once 'signed off' you will go up to a $41.60 per hour rate including casual loading, plus 11.5% superannuation.

About You:
* You should have exceptional interpersonal skills with a dedication to Customer Service.
* You will need to be able to deal with a wide variety of visitors to site in a professional and friendly manner.
* You will display a high empathy and self-awareness and be adept at navigating sensitive situations.
* The role requires a high level of customer service as well as great presentation and communication skills.
* You should be able to display strong problem-solving abilities, demonstrating resilience and initiative.
* You do need to be an Australian Citizen to work for us on this assignment and also be able to pass a National Police Check.
You would be required to complete a telephone interview with a Hoban representative, and if successful, you would be invited to attend a Recruitment Day on either 20th or 21st November in Canberra City.
