Are you a dynamic and customer-focused professional with a passion for arts, events, and delivering exceptional experiences? The City of Karratha is looking for an enthusiastic Front of House Duty Manager to oversee the successful operation of the Red Earth Arts Precinct (REAP) during performances, public events, and box office hours.

You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and assist with box office operations.
* Supervise event staff, including ushers, bar, and kiosk teams, ensuring top-notch service.
* Oversee bar and kiosk operations in line with liquor licensing regulations.
* Manage front-of-house logistics, ensuring venue cleanliness and preparedness.
* Liaise with touring companies and event organizers to meet operational needs.
* Ensure audience safety and coordinate emergency procedures as needed.
* Promote community events in collaboration with the City’s Marketing & Communications team.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong leadership skills and experience supervising staff in an event or hospitality environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven experience in customer service and cash handling.
* Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and bar operations (Approved Manager preferred or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and alternate Saturdays as required.
* First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and Fire Warden Training (or willingness to obtain).
* Current C class driver’s licence and a recent National Police Certificate.
