About the role
4. Engage in clinical practice as determined by the Director of Neurosurgery and Senior Neurosurgery consultant staff.
5. Responsible for outpatient and inpatient day to day clinical care of patients under the direct supervision of nominated Consultant staff.
6. Ensure a high standard of clinical practice of Resident Medical Officers/Interns in the Department/Unit.
7. To organise and implement clinical review programs as part of quality assurance, including preparation of reports.
8. To be involved in the after-hours roster on a regular basis.
9. Assist with post graduate teaching program

Essential Requirements:
15. Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
16. Working With Children Check (DHS)
17. Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
18. MBBS or equivalent degree registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
