Randstad is working on a new part-time payroll opportunity for a reputable construction company based in Macquarie Park. This is a 3-day-a-week role reporting into the senior payroll specialist.
About the role: This exciting permanent part-time opportunity is for an experienced Payroll Officer with approx 2 years of experience. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist and also be supported by the wider HR team.
You will be processing the payroll using the Employment Hero system; current or prior experience with this system will be highly advantageous.
Located in Macquarie Park, this 3-day-a-week role offers flexibility of working from home and the office. Depending on your experience, the salary for this role ranges from $70,000 - $80,000 + super.
Key Responsibilities: End-to-end payroll processing for weekly and fortnightly staff.Perform payroll administration and maintain the payroll system with up-to-date employee records.Keep up to date with local legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, etc.Process payroll leave.Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment changes.Respond to all payroll inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks.About you: Preferably have worked in payroll for 2+ years.Employment Hero exposure would be beneficial but not essential.Ability to interpret awards and legislation.Experience in an end-to-end payroll function would be beneficial.Knowledge or prior experience working within the construction industry would be a bonus.If this role sounds like the one for you, click APPLY now!
