The Role:
Under supervision of the Adult Day Centre Coordinator, assist with the care of Adult Day Centre clients in regard to:
1. Personal care;
2. Providing assistance with planning, implementation and evaluation of activities; and
3. Catering and domestic roles.

This role is based at King Island Hospital & Health Centre.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term part time day worker position working 20 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP until September 2024
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
5. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $58,899 - $61,381 pro rata per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
6. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
7. Please note: accommodation/relocation allowance is not available for this position.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

12. crimes involving dishonesty
13. Identification check
14. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
*as required by CHSP, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years
