We serve a diverse clientele across government, infrastructure, and development sectors.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement field programs, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.Coordinate and execute fieldwork in line with project scope, budget, and timelines.Mentor and lead junior team members.Interpret field and laboratory data to provide expert advice and compile technical reports.Oversee contractors to ensure the safety and quality of field programs.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and EPA accredited auditors.About YouIdeal candidates are:Committed professionals with strong relationship-building skills.Eager to learn and advance as the company grows.Team players energized by collaborative project delivery.Self-starters with effective time management and communication skills.Detail-oriented, especially in document preparation.Experience & Qualifications3 to 10+ years of experience, preferably in contaminated land/environmental/geoscience/hazardous materials sectors.Bachelor's or higher degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geoscience, Chemistry, or related fields. Significant experience in these fields will be considered in lieu of tertiary qualifications for the right candidate.Project management experience, including proposal writing, client engagement, and project execution.Knowledge of contaminated land management, waste classification, PSI/DSI investigations, remediation programs, and report preparation.Familiarity with SA and National regulatory frameworks, including SA EP Act, PFAS NEMP, and ASC NEPM.Asbestos assessors license and/or NATA fibre counting experience.Experience in hazardous material assessments, asbestos audits, airborne fibre monitoring, and abatement services.Concluding Remarks for Potential CandidatesAgon champions equality and diversity, striving to foster a welcoming workplace for everyone.
