Position Title: 2025 Unaccredited Plastic Surgery Registrar
Classification: HM25 - HM30
Salary per hour (exc. super): as per award
Hours per fortnight: 86
Employment Status: Full Time/Fixed Term

The unaccredited registrar will coordinate the care of both inpatients and those seen in an outpatient setting. The registrar will also participate in the weekend roster.
There will be considerable opportunities for operating theatre exposure either as primary operator or first assistant; there will be rostered elective operating theatre exposure.
There is a well-established registrar teaching program. Exposure to medical students and junior medical staff will provide opportunities to develop teaching skills.
There are opportunities to participate in surgical mentorship program for development in non-clinical core skill, such as teaching, research, preparation of GSSE.

Your New Division
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
