About your role:
As the Senior Network Operations Engineer you are an expert in your field and provide RPEQ day-to-day and strategic engineering advice on the complex dynamics of Energy Queensland’s (EQL) high voltage power systems and first-in technical expertise and support to Network Operations’ group and other internal and external customers as a primary means of achieving Network Operations business objectives; and provide strategic input into Project Leadership Teams for major project development and viability assessment.
As a subject matter expert, you will provide real time RPEQ professional engineering supervision, direction, decisions, and advice to Network Operations teams whilst demonstrating the behaviours consistent with Energy Queensland values, in a way that delivers high performance, positively leading change, encouraging open communication, continuous improvement, innovation and cross work group collaboration.
Remuneration from $164,752 pa for a 9 day fortnight and from $186,170 for a 10 day fortnight + 14.75% super
About you:
Critical to your success in the role is your:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category
* Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ)
* Demonstrated commitment to improvements in safety performance, the implementation of best practice environment management and full operational legislative compliance including the Acts, Standards and Codes of Practice that are relevant to the electricity supply industry
* Participates and leads internal stakeholder collaborative activities to achieve effective cross work functional integration, aligned and coordinated planning and delivery of work and strategic goals and objectives
