Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following :LeadershipLead the design and implementation of the Whole School Approach to DifferentiationLead the implementation of the Whole School Approach to PedagogyLead professional development for staff on effective pedagogies for EAL / D learnersWork with the Head of Department for English to design and implement the Whole School Approach to LiteracyLead collegial engagement system for staff performance and capability developmentStudent SupportProvide support and intervention to students in Year 11 - 12, escalated from the Head of YearsWork with Heads of Department to refine and implement systems that enhance student engagement in the classroom.ManagementOversee the Resource Centre, and manage appropriate staff accordingly.Work with the DP to allocate Teacher Aide resources and create timetables, while also planning their professional development and fostering collaboration between Teacher Aides and teachers to enhance student support.The ideal candidate will possess the following key capabilities :Proven leadership in curriculum, teaching, and learning, resulting in quality student outcomes.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive relationships within and beyond the school community.Strategic thinking and analytical skills to influence the educational agenda for state schooling.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
