Follow scheduled maintenance programs, completing servicing as outlined and recording details for administration purposes.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Diagnose system problems if, and when they occurAccurately maintain logs and work orders through to job completion and sign offAdherence with SOPS, Marine Memos, operation procedures, and WHS requirementsFollowing the scheduled maintenance program for all mechanical, electrical, air control, safety equipment on a regular basis on the vessels, tenders, pontoon, etc.Maintenance of main and auxiliary engines, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders (rams), water pumps, electric generators, lights, navigation system, ventilation systems, underwater running gear, and any other mechanical, hydraulic, electrical gear on boardMaintenance of emergency generations, emergency steering, and firefighting systems to ensure compliance in line with legislationFault finding and additional repairsAbout YouThe successful candidate will be highly skilled and experienced with a strong marine diesel engine industry background. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will have strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
