Kingsford Smith School (Primary Site) is seeking a dedicated School Leader C. This position will play a critical role in driving high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring alignment with the school’s strategic priorities. This year, Kingsford Smith School has implemented a strong focus on explicit instruction, a low-variance curriculum, and high behaviour expectations. The SLC will be instrumental in embedding these approaches across the primary site, working closely with staff to maintain consistency in instructional practices and student expectations. A key responsibility will be supporting teachers in delivering structured, evidence-based instruction while ensuring all students have access to high-quality learning experiences. In addition to leading curriculum and instructional development, the SLC will play a pivotal role in using student data to drive targeted teaching and intervention strategies. The position also involves mentoring and coaching staff, fostering a culture of professional learning, and ensuring that school-wide practices align with the school’s commitment to excellence. With a strong focus on maintaining high-impact, structured learning environments, the SLC will contribute to building a cohesive and effective teaching team, supporting both staff and students in achieving success. Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
