This position plays a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing plants and processes, formalising our Approved Applicator Program, and assisting our R&D team with testing and product validation. Please send your CV and a cover letter outlining why you would be a great fit for this role.Main duties and responsibilitiesProcessing Equipment SupportAssist in the setup, commissioning, and ongoing support of processing equipment.Training to customer operators/supervisors on equipment operation.Work closely with customers to ensure they have the necessary equipment, processes, and training for efficient plant operation.Development of Quality and auditing documents.Product quality auditing.Formalizing and enhancing the Approved Applicator programDevelop and improve the Approved Applicator Program, ensuring a structured and consistent approach.Conduct training sessions and supervision for partners applying Elastotec’s lagging to pulleys.Implement facility audits to verify that partners meet equipment and application process requirements.Establish clear documentation, guidelines, and certification processes to enhance program effectiveness.Understanding different autoclaves operation methods: Steam heated autoclaves vs Air heated autoclaves.Provide regular feedback to the sales account managers on the effectiveness of the approved applicator program.R&D testing supportAssist the R&D team in testing new developments, materials, and samples in both Elastotec and customer facilities.Coordinate and oversee testing procedures to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.Work closely with engineering and innovation teams to support ongoing product improvements.Provide technical feedback and formal reports from testing results to drive product enhancements and performance optimization.Technical Aptitude – Strong understanding of engineering principles, conveyor systems, and material handling applications.
