This role will be home based, working remotely supporting a portfolio of hotels which may vary from city hotels to luxury resorts which could include hotels within Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and / or South Pacific.This role will :Manage the revenue function across a portfolio of hotels, developing and managing short, medium, and long-term strategies for profitable revenue generation and capture.Pro-actively and cost-effectively maximize hotel room revenues, RevPAR and system delivery to achieve superior performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and against budget growth targets.Develop strategies to achieve overall hotel revenue.Analyze competitor and market pricing and trends to create the right pricing strategy by segment and for each revenue stream.Create and present revenue forecasts.Prepare for and conduct Revenue meetings to identify risks and opportunities, potential revenue driving activities or strategic direction shifts.Complete yearly budgeting for revenue streams along with the hotel team.Analyze and report on EOM performance, pace and trends.Participate in business review meetings with both corporate and owners as needed.Support NHOP or conversion set-up as needed.What we need from youTo be successful in the role, the following skills and attributes will be highly advantageous :Education : University Degree or Hospitality Diploma / Degree.Experience : Experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, or Yield Management; Experience in a variety of hotels and / or geographic locations.Technical Skills and Knowledge : Proven knowledge of Revenue Management Software Systems like Optims, Ideas, Rate360, IHG Concerto RMS; Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel; Strong research and analytical skills; Ability to impact and influence remotely; Excellent verbal communication, report writing and presentation skills; System and Technology savvy; Knowledge of Property Management System such as Opera.What we offerIn return, we'll give you a competitive benefits package including salary, discounted accommodation worldwide and the opportunity to progress your career with IHG.
