The Role
We're gearing up for the upcoming peak season during October to March 2025. We are seeking to hire a number of casual Lifeguards & Duty Managers for this busy period.
The Lifeguards & Duty Manager’ s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.
You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence, to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
Skills & Attributes:
1. Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
2. Excellent verbal communication skills
3. An understanding of WHS and public safety applications within your facility
4. Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
5. Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
6. National Police Check
7. Pool Lifeguard Certificate - Essential
8. Pool Operator Certificate
9. Ability to liaise with various levels of the business
10. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop & maintain good working relations
11. Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
