About the Role:

You will gain valuable experience in sustainable finance and ESG research.
We are seeking an Associate Director/Senior Analyst to join our Sustainable Finance team in Tokyo, or other locations with Japanese proficiency.
The successful candidate will work on ESG and sustainable finance assignments, contributing to product development and application in the ESG space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead individual assignments on ESG and sustainable financing instruments and frameworks in Japan/APAC.
* Build subject matter expertise to support ESG in ratings, interacting with credit rating analytical teams.
* Represent the team as a spokesperson for external engagements, including market outreach and customer interactions.
* Conduct research and analysis on ESG themes impacting organizations in Japan and the wider region.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in sustainability, finance, or related fields.
* Relevant work experience of at least 7 years, preferably in sustainable finance/ESG.
* Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
