The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for managing geotechnical hazards through compliance with the SDMP.The successful candidate will gather geotechnical data by wall mapping and design slope monitoring systems to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.This role requires open pit geotechnical experience and proficiency in using Vulcan mining software, design package software, RocScience, Radars, and Trimble 4D.Essential skills and knowledge Requirements: A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Geology.Open Pit Geotechnical experience is required for this role.Experience in using Vulcan mining software, design package software, RocScience, Radars, and Trimble 4D.Ability to manage geotechnical hazards through compliance with the SDMP.Experience in gathering geotechnical data by wall mapping.Designing slope monitoring systems.Ability to work on a FIFO role on an 8:6 Roster.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.Benefits: $65-76 per hour + super.Opportunity to work for a tier one mining business.Salary sacrificing.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Corporate discounts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
