Veterinary Anaesthesia Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor Position
We are seeking a veterinarian with expertise in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia to join our team at the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, University of Adelaide.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical leader and educator to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of our department. The successful candidate will have a track record of excellence in patient care and a passion for imparting knowledge, teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching and course coordination in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia
* Clinical service delivery and leadership in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia
* Research and publication in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Australian Fellowship (FANZCVS), Diplomat of the American or European Colleges (DACVAA or DECVAA), or eligibility to sit for these examinations
* Qualification in Veterinary Science acceptable for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia
* Proven ability to contribute independently to a clinical service in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as a member of clinical and teaching teams
