IMPACT is also a Child Safe Organisation committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.Our Alcohol and Other Drug (AoD) Treatment Services program is a new program funded by the Department of Health and Ageing to support the delivery of treatment services in the Bundaberg and Hervey Bay regions.
The Liaison Officer manages the treatment service providers who will work support clients to reduce the effect of AoD use on individuals, families and communities in the Bundaberg and Hervey Bay regions.
The treatment services are non-clinical and will be designed around community input and needs.The initial phase of the role is to participate in community service design workshops and put in place the frameworks to select and establish the service providers.
