Enabled by cutting-edge technology, it promises to have a major impact on society, in science and beyond.In Australia, the SKAO is collaborating with CSIRO to operate and support the construction of the low frequency telescope (SKA-Low) in remote Western Australia on Wajarri Yamaji Country.The Logistics Allrounder will manage essential supplies, coordinate deliveries across remote locations, and support the setup of construction activities on site. The role will support smooth logistics operations and ensure materials are available for construction and maintenance teams as required.Your duties will include:Logistics & Transportation: Transport goods across SKA-Low facilities, operating forklifts, vehicles and trailers in remote locations while adhering to safety protocols.Roster Management: Follow a structured 4-days on, 3-days off schedule. Working days are Monday-Thursday (Travel inclusive).Inventory Management: Keep accurate stock records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Goods Receiving: Verify and document received materials.Field Support & Setup: Set up and deploy equipment for antenna installation, ensuring all tools and materials are available.Location: Geraldton, Western Australia - Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) 4-days on 3-days off roster from Geraldton.To be considered you will need:Qualification/Experience: Certificate II in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent proven experience in warehousing and logistics.Physical Capability: Ability to work in remote locations and perform manual labour-intensive duties in a physically demanding environment.Licensing: Hold a State/Territory or Comcare issued High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of commencement.Vehicle Licensing: Hold an unencumbered State/Territory issued light vehicle/car licence that has been valid for 2 years or more, or Medium Rigid Licence (or the ability to obtain a Medium Rigid Licence within 3 months of commencement).Team Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working effectively in a small team, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.CSIRO is an Equal Opportunity employer working hard to recruit world-class talent that represents the diversity across our society.
