Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated TPPP Clinical Nurse/Midwife Facilitator to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, including graduate nurses and midwives. About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Facilitator, you will provide essential support to nursing staff across various health service settings. Your role will focus on promoting reflective, evidence-based practice improvement through face-to-face and virtual support. You will guide less experienced staff, ensuring they develop the competencies needed to excel in their roles. In this role, you will: Lead and Inspire: Provide exceptional clinical support and supervision to nursing and midwifery staff, including graduates, both face-to-face and virtually. Drive Clinical Excellence: Engage in hands-on clinical work while helping others develop from competent to proficient practitioners. Shape Professional Development: Collaborate with Nurse Educators, Nurse Unit Managers, and Nurse Managers to deliver top-notch education and support. What We're Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate. A minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in nursing/midwifery. Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in leading and guiding student nurses and less experienced registered nurses. Creativity and flexibility in approaching clinical issues. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
