The Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor is responsible for offering support, guidance, and advisory services to various sites within their designated region. This is a permanent part-time position, with potential for the role to transition to full-time depending on business needs and performance.
By providing continuous support, the HSEQ Advisor ensures that both management and employees are aware of and comply with all applicable regulations and standards. The advisor will also work to foster ongoing improvements in HSEQ performance, culture, and overall outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide advice to branch management to ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations and internal systems.
Support sites in demonstrating leadership to reduce risks and prevent injuries.
Guide site management on HSE improvements and corrective actions, ensuring implementation.
Facilitate incident investigations and risk assessments to identify sustainable solutions.
Coordinate Return-to-Work processes and engage with external agencies on case management and incidents.
Deliver HSE compliance and operational training, ensuring adherence to standards and legislation.
Promote safety principles and company values, fostering a positive safety culture.
Ensure timely and accurate incident data and KPI reporting.
Support safety system execution and compliance in your region.
Contribute to Branch Management Meetings, ensuring progress on KPIs and safety plans.
Review and assess HSEQ procedures with the National Safety Manager for effectiveness and legal compliance.
Conduct audits to identify and manage risks.
Oversee quality of safety data and support contractor management.
About You:
Prior experience in blue collar or high-risk industry environments are desirable.
Experience in working with logistics, resource management, waste management, recycling practices are highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Health & Safety position or similar.

IT Literate and strong across Microsoft Office platforms
Qualifications:
Minimum Certificate IV in Health and Safety
Diploma in Health and Safety - highly regarded
Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, WHS Management - highly regarded
