The Role:
We seek an experienced Operations Manager to join our team based in [location].
The Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing operations, maintenance, and compliance. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities, maintaining properties to high standards, and providing technical and maintenance advice to support centre management teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and manage a comprehensive Planned Preventive Maintenance Programme
* Provide technical and maintenance advice to the Property Manager and client
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including engineering, risk management, and compliance
* Identify opportunities to improve maintenance and operational efficiencies
* Coordinate Emergency Evacuation Training and Procedures
* Assist in driving sustainability goals
* Manage contracts and agreements with contractors
* Utilise the Facility Request Centre to address tenant requests
* Support capital works projects and implementation
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities and/or property industry
* Trade qualification or significant work experience in electrical, mechanical engineering, or plumbing
* SA Property Managers Registration License (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
* Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or related field
* Valid driver's license
* Strong knowledge of Facilities Management and maintenance best practices
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Practical and proactive attitude
