Boigu Island is part of the Torres Strait Islands, located near the northern tip of Queensland. It's a small, remote island with a rich Indigenous culture. Visitors can explore traditional fishing and weaving techniques, or take a boat ride to nearby uninhabited islands for a unique adventure. Birdwatching is also popular due to the island's diverse wildlife.
Boigu Island Hospital is a small but vital healthcare facility for the local community, offering essential medical services. It has two beds and provides primary health care, including emergency treatments, chronic disease management, and maternal health services.
