Job Description: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support our growing operations in 2025. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including quantity surveying and estimating, project management, procurement, email correspondence, and handling inquiries from clients and builders. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and scheduling projects, as well as assisting in the hiring of staff.This position will require initial training from the existing Junior Project Manager in December 2024, before commencing work in 2025. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quantity surveying and estimating tasks to support project planning and budgeting.- Assist in project management activities, including coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation.- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and equipment.- Handle email correspondence and inquiries from builders in a professional and timely manner.- Forecast and plan project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines.- Collaborate with team members to hire and onboard staff as needed. Skills/Experience Required: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings accurately.- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.- An interest in electrical and technology solutions.- Experience using Bluebeam estimating software (preferred but not essential).- Experience using Simpro project management software (preferred but not essential). Location and Schedule: - Based in our recently established office in Hawthorn, Melbourne.- Opportunity to work from home once established, with a flexible schedule.- Initially, the role will require 2 days a week, with potential for growth.
