**What’s the role?**
The Digital Sales Lead is a key player in our sales team, specialising in leveraging advanced technical knowledge and expertise to drive digital sales activities. This role encompasses the entire spectrum of the sales process, with a focus on digital products and solutions. As a lead, this individual excels in solving complex technical challenges and engaging in strategic discussions with clients when required to drive digital sales growth.
This is a max-term contract to cover maternity leave.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the primary technical/digital resource for our sales team, providing deep insights into the workings, applications, and benefits of our digital products and solutions. Contribute valuable expertise to sales meetings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our digital offerings.
+ Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations, showcasing how our digital products and solutions address the specific needs and challenges of our clients. Utilise advanced digital knowledge to articulate the value proposition effectively.
+ Document client requirements and provide technical guidance to inform digital sales strategy and proposals. Collaborate closely with the sales team to tailor solutions that meet the unique digital needs of each client.
+ Support the assessment of standard, customised, and partnership alternatives for new digital product offerings. Evaluate the feasibility of digital approaches and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
+ Collaborate closely with Group Client Partners and Client Partners to support sales activities, including client visits and solution exploration. Provide technical expertise and support to drive digital sales growth and success.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, including digital product development, marketing, and data analytics, to identify opportunities for digital innovation and optimisation. Provide valuable insights to support the enhancement of digital products and solutions.
+ Evaluate market trends and customer behavior to maintain a competitive edge, conducting thorough assessments of sales volume and market potential to inform the development of comprehensive marketing strategies.
+ Analyses sales and market data to generate actionable insights, empowering frontline sales to formulate strategic plans that capitalize on market opportunities and drive growth.
**Who are you?**
+ Proven experience in digital sales or sales engineering roles is essential. Candidates should have a track record of success in selling digital products, solutions, or services, preferably within the technology or digital marketing industries.
+ A solid technical background in digital technologies, platforms, and tools is necessary. Candidates should have a strong understanding of digital products and their applications, as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Candidates should demonstrate leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, drive results, and foster a culture of collaboration and success.
+ Prior experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales, account management, or customer success, is important. Candidates should have a customer-centric mindset and a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
+ Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans and initiatives is valuable. Candidates should have the ability to identify market opportunities, analyse competitor strategies, and develop actionable sales strategies to drive business growth.
+ Experience in the digital or technology industry is preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, as well as the ability to stay informed about industry developments and best practices
