We're looking for a hands-on and motivated self-starter who's passionate about using data to help us measure and drive the business and influence its decision-making.In this role, the Field Sales Operations Manager will work with the Growth, ANZ and APJ teams to continuously evolve forecasting models, analyse historic results, and make business recommendations to senior management based on those and other analyses – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. This will include working with the various teams to develop, implement and manage the business operations cadence, systems, reports and strategies that optimise business functions to meet organisational goals and initiatives.The Field Sales Operations Manager will drive improvements to how we run the business, the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilised by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to AWS's senior management team. This position also manages the administration and execution of the team's goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various sales processes involving alignment between the cross-functional and specialist teams and our Sales teams.This role will focus on providing operational insight to our business, and our growth initiatives, supporting the ANZ Global Sales Operations leadership in day-to-day operational activities, and providing additional analytical insight as required based on strategic projects identified. This person will play a pivotal role in the future planning of the business, working to develop customer segmentation, territory design and quota deployment, to align with the go-to-market model of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with leadership and other Sales Operations Managers to support the business unit's weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly cadence, performance management, annual goals, budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery/presentation of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, insights and dashboards to drive key business decisions across ANZ.Lead the development and provision of routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to AWS senior management regarding strategic initiatives, partner segment performance, performance against goals, etc. Ensure reports contribute to business insight and decision-making, and minimize overall report burden.Lead the modelling and development of recommendations for coverage/capacity/ competency planning aligned with targeted customer segmentation/verticals.Maintain thorough knowledge of existing and emerging 3rd party data sources as needed for Analytics.Drive insights and strategic projects to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness internal in the Sales Operations team and in the field.Minimum Requirements5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
