Primary Teachers: Permanent and Contract Positions – Teach in Canberra
We are seeking passionate and qualified primary classroom teachers for permanent and contract positions in ACT public schools. Teaching areas of specialisation include kindergarten to year 6 as well as:
* Inclusive and Disability Educators
* Music
* Visual Arts
* Languages - Japanese
* Librarian
* EAL/D

Minimum Requirements:
* You have relevant and recognised tertiary qualifications.
* Have a passion for teaching and education and support a student-centred approach to learning.
* Have generalist teaching expertise and the ability to teach across a broad age and ability range.
* Demonstrate knowledge and successful application of the Australian Curriculum.
* Have positive classroom management skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
* Proven experience establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents/carers.
* Are committed to supporting the wellbeing of students.
Eligibility Requirements for Employment:
* Education qualifications: Have an approved four-year full-time tertiary education qualification.
* Teacher registration: Hold a valid approval to teach with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
* Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration: Have a valid ACT WWVP.
* Approved working status: Be an Australian citizen and/or be a permanent resident and/or hold a valid working visa.
