About the role:
You will assist a diverse range of clients, including the aged, by supporting them with activities of daily living and providing support services such as domestic assistance, social support, respite, and personal care in their homes and in the community.
Your role is to visit clients in their personal homes to give them the opportunity to stay at home.
Key Responsibilities
* Attending to clients in their own home
* Must be willing to travel within 10kms from home
* Empathy and patience for elderly clients
* Willing to attend to domestic assistance duties
About you:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable)
* Current and valid Driver's Licence
* Full car insurance
* Safe and reliable motor vehicle
* Smart mobile phone
* Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
* Proficiency in the use of technology such as smartphones, email, and the internet
