This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing December 2024 up until December 2025 with possible extension.
Program Kaartdijin has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SISClassic) and include additional information capture and reportability. The Program focuses on providing short-term solutions as well as a longer-term solution that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large. The Program vision is to provide a contemporary administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.
The new Kaartdijin Solution will replace the SISClassic suite of applications currently used in 800+ schools throughout Western Australia. The Department has contracted TechnologyOne as the provider of the core finance functionalities and Compass Education as the provider of the billing, student administration and school administration functionalities for schools.

The Role
Program Kaartdijin is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Project Support Officer - Training and Support to assist the Program with co-ordination, administration, and related activities.
The role requires someone who is able to demonstrate a high level of experience and skills related to project administration and support as they will be required to organise, record and report on a range of governance meetings including producing or assisting in the creation and maintenance of relevant program documentation such as project schedules, status reports, meeting minutes and action lists, coordinate and book travel and training locations etc.
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office products (Such as Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Project and Outlook), will be a key requirement of this role. Experience with Department and external systems such as TRIM, Smartsheets or similar tools will be well regarded, but not essential.
