Our client is the Volvo Penta distributing dealer for Victoria and Tasmania. They carry an extensive range of engines, spare parts and have a fully equipped workshop; servicing on and offsite. Our client is also the distributor of Rehlko Marine Generators, Garmin Marine products, and Humphree Trim Tabs. The key responsibilities include: Interpret parts for clients, Dealers, and the workshop at the counter and over the phone using electronic parts catalogues. Provide advice regarding parts specifications. Prepare part quotes and process client invoices. Maintain part pricing and discount structure of products. Pick, pack and ship orders - where required. Provide support and cross-training to Dealer Network via Dealer visits and online communication. Manage inventory based on demand and cost targets. Manage and grow small team. Manage and implement stock take annually. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Excellent customer service skills and able to liaise with client and key stake holders. Be a team player but also have a high level of self-motivation and time management. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Experience in a spare parts environment is essential.
