We currently have a great opportunity available for a motivated, driven and passionate Finance Analyst to join our ANZ Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Planning & Analysis Manager and as a part our business operations and support functions, the overall objective of the Finance Analyst is providing management information to Teleflex key decision makers by performing financial analyses and understanding trends. You will be responsible for partnering with business unit leaders, preparing month end management reporting, working with cross functional teams, forecasting/budget preparation, ensuring compliance and governance framework development, driving process changes and other ad-hoc duties.
Principal Responsibilities: Weekly Performance reporting – Revenue & Expense analysis for the ANZ business unitsPerform the month-end closing processes – posting of SAP journal entries for Revenue Recognition, Rebates, Purchase Price Variances, Expense & Prepayment Accruals & Balance Sheet reconciliationsPerform the month-end reporting process - Production of management reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, Cash Flow, KPIs & Month end presentations with insightful and value adding commentaryConduct routine & adhoc analysis of profitability, revenue, margin, expenses, time and staff utilisation – to make recommendations to the businessAnalyze PPVs & Stock adjustments and initiate corrective action - working closely with Procurement team to update & maintain Transfer prices & standard costs in SAPAssist in budgeting and forecasting cycles process across Australia and New Zealand entities & coordinate the process with ANZ Senior Management TeamAssist with the capital program for budgeting and forecastingDevelop & enhance BI Reports, Dashboards & business modelling to support commercial & functional business analysis needs Manage & assist with processing of external sales & market data for reporting & analysisLiaise with Sales & Marketing team for monthly Sales target achievementsLiaising with stake holders for long term Strategic plansRequired Experience: Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications (CA or CPA preferred by not essential) Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in management accounting activities including general accounting, financial planning and analysis, compliance and governance across ANZ businessWorking knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, Oracle (Hyperion Financial Management & Financial Data Management), Advanced MS Excel - Ability to use PowerBI will be beneficialA high level of communicative skills, the ability to persuade and self-assertiveness are expected as well as the ability to work under pressure analytically and systematically.Quick comprehension, thinking in terms of the big picture and organizational skills are essential. This is coupled with the ability to integrate and get along with people of differing mentalities.High level accounting and audit knowledgeFamiliarity with multi-national working environmentPreferred experience in US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) complianceAttention to detail and establishing strong networks with internal and external stakeholdersThe Finance Analyst should be pragmatic and able to think and operate inter-departmentally.
