Hammond Park Secondary College (SC) is seeking two (2) dedicated Teachers - Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) to join their friendly team.
We currently have the following positions available:
1. 2x – Permanent full time positions
All positions will commence Term 1, 2024.
The successful applicants should be committed to promoting HASS education and fostering student engagement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. Flexibility in a new and growing college is important, as well as a commitment to personal and professional growth. Experience teaching senior school at Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) level, is desirable.
We are seeking applicants who ideally have excellent interpersonal skills and can foster positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including students, staff and community members. You should have the appropriate skills to collaborate across learning areas to create innovative learning opportunities for our students, and contributes positively to our college culture.
Hammond Park SC has an Instructional Framework and a Performance Growth and Coaching Framework based on coaching and continuous feedback. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
