About the Role We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd-year Apprentice Diesel Mechanic who is eager to continue their development and gain hands-on experience in diesel mechanics. You will be working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of diesel engines and heavy vehicles, learning about diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Duties Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and other mechanical systems Carry out routine maintenance and scheduled servicing on heavy vehicles and machinery Support senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing repairs Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean and organised working environment Keep accurate records of repairs and servicing Assist with the management of tools and equipment required for daily tasks Skills and Experience Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd-year Apprentice Diesel Mechanic Experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles (preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from senior mechanics Commitment to safety and a solid work ethic Culture Our client promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment where apprentices are encouraged to learn and grow.
