Key Job Responsibilities
The Sharing & Recoveries Advisor will be responsible for managing sharing and recovery claims across the QLD, NSW, ACT and SA CTP schemes in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and procedural guidelines.
The successful candidate will provide a superior level of customer service while maintaining a commercial focus on achieving business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
* Proactively manage a portfolio of managed and non-managed sharing claims in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and procedural guidelines to achieve cost-effective and timely claim resolutions.
* Pursue potential recoveries by obtaining supporting financial information from relevant parties and negotiating the necessary terms and conditions in support of positive outcomes.
* Ensure timeliness of recovery payments and maintain details of recovery payments on relevant databases.
* Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and claims management strategies.
* Collaborate across and within teams and build strong relationships with customers to match the right solution to each customer's needs – placing the customer at the heart of decisions.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of CTP, workers compensation or a legal background would be well regarded.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Proficient computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
* Customer service experience with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within required timeframes.
* Ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
* Planning and organisation skills – establishing a process to complete tasks (either personal or for others) and allocating appropriate resources in achievement of same.
* Ability to implement the necessary tools and techniques to effectively balance and manage priorities.
* Demonstrate people skills and a customer service outlook in decision making and processing activities, that contributes towards the effectiveness of departments supported by the team and meets their scorecard goals.
