Advisor, Safety and Security Capability PlanningSNSW Grade 7 / 81 x Temp Full-Time (through until Sept 2027)Location: Haymarket, Parramatta, or GosfordAbout the Role:As the Advisor, Safety and Security Capability Planning, you will support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a Risk and Governance Regime for the efficient delivery of physical security across all relevant channels as part of the Protective and Physical Security Management and Response Framework. You will also provide advice on the development and implementation of measures against physical security threats within the business operations.Responsibilities:Providing advice to stakeholders on security risk management and reduction within the Agency to ensure greater security preparation and management across all relevant channels.Undertaking threat vulnerability assessments in support of the business operations, including major projects and business-as-usual operations.Developing standard security risk assessment profiles for respective business operations to facilitate the development of our framework and reduce security risk within SNSW.About the Team:The Safety and Security Operations team at Service NSW is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and infrastructure. Our team plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through the coordination and delivery of contracted security services, as well as the implementation of comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures.About You:We are seeking a highly skilled security professional with a security license or the ability to obtain one. The role requires regular travel across various business operation centres and sites located throughout NSW, including metro, remote, and regional locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong risk identification skills, as well as expertise in planning and capability mapping to ensure the proactive management of potential security threats.
