Seeking an experienced Stores Officer to join a department in Murdoch, working full-time Monday to Friday
Your new company
A government organisation in Murdoch are seeking an experienced Stores Officer to join the team. This role is being offered on a temporary contract for 3-months initially, with the potential for extension should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours and will be paid $38 per hour + superannuation. You will be required to complete a Department of Justice clearance following a successful interview, which can take approximately 4-weeks to be processed. You will then be required to start immediately from there.
Your new role
As the Stores Officer, you will be responsible for the distribution of all goods and consumables, to support the operations of the warehouse workflow. You will be responsible for:
* Pick packing
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Operating a forklift
* Physically moving boxes and orders
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will need:
* Previous experience in a Stores / Warehouse Operations role
* Forklift ticket
* WA driver's licence
* Physical ability to lift 20kg boxes
* Reliable work ethic and good communication skills
In addition to the above, following a successful interview you must also complete a Department of Justice clearance, which can only be completed by Australian Permanent Residence or Australian Citizens. You will also be required to provide 2 employment references, and one must be from the last 12-months.
