About the role: The Marketing and Communications Assistant supports the General Manager of Marketing & Communications in driving team communication and collaboration, providing administrative support, and delivering on key aspects of the marketing and communications function. To be successful, you will be passionate about building relationships across the business and being a trusted and responsive support across the marketing and communications team. Your role will be varied and include administration and supporting key marketing and communications activities: digital communications, sponsorships and events, internal communications, maintenance of the image library and marketing resources. You enjoy being organised and working with processes and systems to ensure that our marketing and communications team is delivering on strategic goals and operating plans. You also enjoy planning events and workshops, team meetings and ensuring they can operate effectively and successfully. Our ideal candidate: Ideally you will have a qualification in marketing and communications at degree level. Previous experience gained in a similar role where you can demonstrate your strong stakeholder engagement skills, reliability and attention to detail, and energy and desire to make a difference. You also have proven experience in delivering marketing and communications initiatives, enjoy writing and can adapt messaging to suit different needs.
