The Job:
Collaborating closely with the executive, leadership and teams to enhance the organisations human resources practices, you’ll offer expert guidance and manage general HR queries, playing a vital role in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring the continuity of impactful initiatives. Primarily responsible for the organisations various HR functions including employee relations policies, processes and procedures, award conditions and supporting the development and implementation of workforce planning practices, you’ll assist in embedding organisational development activities. Understanding business needs, drivers and challenges to build, equip and support leaders in delivering strategic priorities, you’ll foster an engaged workforce, provide advice, oversee due process and fairness, and ensure the consistent and effective delivery of people related projects and outcomes to the organisation, under the direction of senior HR professionals.

Skills Required:
With tertiary qualifications in human resources, psychology, business or any other related field, or with equivalent experience, you’ll ideally be a human resources professional that has worked in a busy general human resources role. With an understanding of workplace relations legislations and industrial processes, you’ll have proven problem solving skills that have led to lasting employee relations solutions in the past, and a leadership capacity to influence, lead, coach and develop and motivate others. Able to interpret industrial instruments and legislation, you’ll have experience providing advice relating to performance management and conducting complex investigations and can lead and support change management initiatives in a complex and often challenging work environment. Organised, self motivated, a proficient communicator and a natural influencer, you’ll also demonstrate integrity when dealing with sensitive matters and maintain discretion when dealing with confidential information. Experience with online meeting platforms (Teams, Google Meet, Zoom etc) and Office365 is required, and knowledge of the disability support industry is advantageous.
