Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a SmartPlant Specialist/Administrator to join our Mining & Minerals Processing team in Perth. The position will be a Full-time role. About the role Rollout & Implement SmartPlant Enterprise solutions in a Full Integrated Environment & maintain the project workflow strategy across the full lifecycle of projects from scoping studies to EPCM execution Administration, troubleshoot & support users on 2D tools – SEL, SI, SPID Provide local support for SMAT Creation and maintenance of piping Specs in SPRD Conduct SPF/SDx Schema Mapping (Tool Schema and Schema) Troubleshoot database and develop SQL queries for reports and data export/import Training and on the job support of S3D users for all disciplines Liaise with designers, engineers and project managers for direction, coordination, and feedback and assist with project design & modelling requirements Material Handling & other discipline equipment catalog management including 3D symbol creation for conveyors Develop & configure Engineering Work Packages within Smart 3D Configuration of Interference detection using Codeless rules Creation, maintenance & management of S3D piping specs & deliverables configuration & support Management of Platework Equipment workflow using Moulded Forms & external applications About you Tertiary qualification in Engineering Design or Drafting Technology (structural/civil or architectural). 3 - 5 years of experience in Smart 3D MHE implementation, administration & support Experience in administration and support of SPID, SI, SEL & SMAT/SPRD Experience with Hexagon tools in an integrated environment. Fully conversant with SPF Schema mapping of all 2D & 3D tools Extensive experience in structural steel round tripping for Analysis and shop detailing using Tekla or SDS2. Setup, integration and mapping of S3D with SDS2 for structural detailing Extensive experience in modelling platework (Bins, Chutes, etc) using moulded forms Experience in using & supporting Structural detailing Task in Smart 3D MHE Experience in configuring and setting up Compartmentation Task in Smart 3D for Work packaging Catalogue management of all disciplines. (Structural sections, Civil trenches, mechanical equipment, materials handling equipment, materials handling belt designations and profiles. Etc) Ability to support & perform duties of super users on Piping, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Tasks (Design/Modelling experience would be an advantage) Extensive experience in supporting a Workshare environment Proficient in database management (SQL and Oracle) and in Visual Basic (VB, VB.Net) Extensive experience in configuring isometrics & all discipline 2D drawing deliverables Experience in S3D model export configurations for Smart Construction Management of Interference Checking codeless rules & user resolutions.
